Budget hotel with basic but reasonable sized rooms which are clean and tidy. Not every room is ensuite so take care to check the specification of the room you are booking.

There is a hotel bar and a 24hr access door.

You turn left out of the hotel then immediately right and follow the road as it bends to the right and becomes Aytoun Street. Cross over Aytoun street and take a small road that is angled slightly left, this is Minishull Street which quickly takes you to Canal Street. This should take about 3 minutes in reasonable heels and these streets are all relatively quiet other than rush hour when that part of Aytoun Street can be busy.

If a busy street concerns you, the London Road route is also 3 minutes and quieter, other than trams; turn left out of the hotel and follow the tram tracks (quite safe there is a pavement), when you come to Aytoun Street, cross it into Auburn Street, (little road between Auburn Street car park and the canal), at the end go right and then immediately left and you are in Canal Street.
