On the map this hotel seems a bit far out from Canal Street and the city center but it is just a 4 minute walk straight up Princess Street to Canal Street.

An unusual big white container on top of the NCP car park but a standard Premier Inn inside, clean, tidy, modern and value for money, especially when other hotels are expensive nearer to the city centre.

Well trained and pleasant staff. It is a modern hotel and sound proofing both from the road and other rooms is said to be excellent.

A big benefit is the reasonably priced parking at the NCP car park below the hotel at £13.95 per 24 hours via the Park Pass App or £14.95 via the machine in the car park but be aware if you leave the car park during the 24 hour period, you'll need to pay for parking up to that point and when/if you re-enter, a new 24 hour period begins.
