Description:
The hotel is standard Premier Inn but the management is not always as good as it could be so it gets very mixed reviews on Trip Advisor and I suggest you check the reviews to decide if it is the hotel for you.The hotel is on the edge of the theatre district so the guests reflect that. Staff are friendly and chilled. You will have to walk through reception to leave the hotel but people are usually occupied booking themselves in on the self serve terminals. When you leave the hotel you start the walk on Portland Street which is usually busy with pedestrians and traffic.
There is reasonably close parking at Q-Park Piazza under the Novotel in St. James Street, sat nav M1 4LX and you can prebook online at www.q-park.co.uk/en-gb/cities/manchester/piazza but there are many other car parks a similar distance away so check online as there might be another that suits you better.
To walk to Canal Street, turn left out of the hotel and within 1 minute you are at the traffic lights with Princess Street, turn right on to Princess Street, within one minute you will see the Union Hotel on your left which is the start of Canal Street.
