A fundraising event for transgender charity, Sparkle

A summer garden party and BBQ in Richard's garden in rural Wrotham in Kent (very close to junction 2 of M20), or inside and undercover if the weather is poor.

Tickets are a nominal £5, but we would like to ask you to donate to our chosen charity.

ENTRY IS BY PRE-BOOKED TICKET ONLY. Tickets include food (BBQ and/or pizza) and non-alcoholic drinks.

Please supply your own alcohol.

The party starts at 2 o'clock, food will be served at about 4 o'clock, and the event ends at 8 o’clock.

Makeovers are available from Richard’s Photography® makeup artists at £40.

Changing areas available by prior request.

This event is held in a family home; please dress and behave appropriately.

The suggested dress code is a summer dress or a smart shirt (depending on how you wish to identify).

Ok, I’m reviewing my own event! But why not? The feedback has been that this was an excellent event (on this site and elsewhere). Everyone had a great time. It was great to see so many people from the trans-community at ease and also a number of their allies supporting the event. In total £415 was raised for the trans-charity, Not A Phase. It was exhausting work and I’m still tidying up four days later, but it was well worth it. Look forward to next year.

I have been to several of Richard's events and they have all been outstanding. This one was well organised and great value for money. The venue is very secure and has stunning gardens and patio/BBQ area. Excellent music and karaoke entertainment provided by the resident DJ Tamasin. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend this event x

Richards party was lovely. A great host in beatifull surroundings and fantastic guests. Top marks for Victoria doing magic, Tamasin on the tunes and all the helpers who made it possible.
