Description:
Speciality coffee shop on the corner of Dale Street and Tariff Street, a walk to here will take you past lots of interesting mid-Victorian architecture and modern graffiti, many things to look and muse at.The Decor inside is modern and stripped back, the music selection is just right and the service is swift. The coffee is tasty, they specialise in third wave artisan roasters and the tea comes in proper northern mugs with mug sized, good quality tea bags in them.
The cake selection is limited but varied and tasty. A good venue to sit and watch the world go by through the large windows and/or chat with a friend.
The staff are efficient and business like, some see this as unfriendly but I think they are just serious about their cafe and they just keep themselves busy trying to get things done.
Like most cafes in Northern Quarter it closes early-ish at around 5pm but next door is a sister bar which stays open to 10pm and if you buy a tea/coffee near cafe closing time they are happy for you to move into the bar to finish it.
