One of the oldest original pubs left in Northern Quarter. A traditional and comfy Manchester pub with traditional Manchester customers, albeit of the younger age group who are typical of Northern Quarter venue customers.

The interior is quite small and has a vintage, retro grunge, earthy, well used, faded and untouched look and feel about it. Nothing perfect or fake posh luxury.

They state themselves as a sherry and wine bar but also offer a good range of craft beers, spirits, wines and traditional cocktails at average Manchester prices.

Food is walk-ins only for European-inspired small plates and pizzette mini-pizzas, shared cheese and cured meat platters and homemade cakes and pastries.

Staff and customers are really chilled with trans but everywhere in Manchester is anyway, I only put this in for re-assurance.
