A unique and laid back basement club with a speakeasy vibe that hosts live bands every night playing such as jazz, funk, soul and ska, they often have small and quirky artists. It has been called the home of Jazz in Manchester. The sound system is loud enough for you to enjoy the live music without being deafened.A small venue with a lovely atmosphere, entry is free on a weekday and £7 on a weekend. Tables can be booked by phone, there is no charge for this but if you don't have a table you will find those in the know have booked them all and you will have to stand.
Menu is mainly pizzas and on weekdays during their happy hour there is a great deal where if you have a table, you can get a free pizza with two drinks. The pizzas are tasty and not that expensive to buy.
Drinks are cocktails, wines and beers at average manchester prices.
Staff are chilled and relaxed with trans people, customers tend to be younger age range, typical Northern Quarter patrons.
