The Sparkle Weekend is a festival-style family event featuring live music and entertainment, talks and workshops, and an opportunity for our corporate sponsors, grassroots charities, and trans-run businesses to engage with our visitors. As well as the main Sparkle event in Sackville Gardens, most people also attend the many clubs, pubs and restaurants in the surrounding gay village in the Canal Street area of Manchester. The event runs from Friday evening, 26th June, to Sunday afternoon, 28th June. There is a live stage, food outlets, as well as stalls (stalls are daytime Saturday and Sunday only). |

More fun and friends on Saturday as sparkle rolled on, lunch outdoors on Canal Street at VIA, then the park, afternoon cream tea at the quaint Tea Rooms, and then clubbing into the early hours. Absolutely fabulous day.
