Description:
This was the very first Revolution bar to open its doors in England back in 1996. The customers very from groups of students to office workers having a chat and a drink after work before their train home from Oxford Road station and tourists.Ordering by App from the bar code on the table works well and ordering at the bar is available too.
Food is that of a typical pub chain, reasonable quality at a reasonable price while drinks are at an average price for Manchester city centre, they also have a reasonable range of cocktails.
The music is usually varied, modern and a nice easy listen while at the right noise level to be able to chat with friends.
It is not a big bar but it is has large windows and is well laid out so you do not feel hemmed in by other customers. The décor and furniture has a chilled and relaxed industrial style.
Staff can be hit and miss, I generally find when the cis-gender women are in charge they are super caring, helpful and attentive, with nothing being any trouble but not so much the male staff who can be standoffish, not very helpful with a "computer says no" attitude if you approach them for anything.
