Description:
During the day and early evening this tiny nightclub is an adequately sized pub serving draught beers and pub food in an upstairs traditional pub area but combined with a modern twist of “back to brick” style with an emphasis on warehouse-style exposed brickwork, seating and bar. There is also an outdoor terrace. The bar is a large bright room with booths and eclectic wooden tables and chairs in the dining area. The bare brick walls throughout give it a simple look which is modern and the ceiling alcoves are covered in beer mats of the guest beers and ales served over the years.
Black boards showcase the days specials and offers.
It's a calm venue during the day and early evening in contrast to the evening clientele where you will struggle for elbow room at one of their sell out gig nights in the basement. There is something for everyone here, from the student to the local or young professional looking for a relaxing place for some lunch away from the centre of the city.
Drinks are wines, spirits, Cuban-themed cocktails and beers such as Camden Hells, Goose IPA and Manchester's own Union Lager. Prices are reasonable city centre range.
