A cashless only bar so bring your card TNQ is in the middle of Thomas Street, don’t be put off by the unassuming entrance and small street frontage as once you go inside, you are greeted by friendly staff serving a great range of drinks including cocktails at decent city centre prices and a buzzing atmosphere.

Clientele is mostly young professionals and students but I am knocking on a bit and I did not feel out of place there in fact I love it as a relaxed and mildly classy venue to hang out in an feel feminine.

TNQ ois open until well after midnight, if there is a DJ mixing at the bar then the music will usually be chilled, modern and background, if no DJ then it is likely to be very loud bump & grind from their music sound system so check the music is to your taste first before getting your drinks.

Décor is a trendy stripped back aesthetic with bare brick walls, reclaimed gymnasium flooring and vintage school furniture, this venue oozes cool. Walk through the bar to the back and you will be amazed at the space inside, you will be greeted by booths and intimate tables in the rear bar or you can sit out at the back on the street or go up to the three, leafy roof top terraces which is a big outdoor space full of nooks and crannies that catch the sun and shade during the day, there is a bar up here as well so don't worry if it is busy downstairs as you can get served quickly on the terrace itself.

There is a food menu through the day with quality food and ingredients at city centre gastro pub prices.
