A monthly girls night out in central Bristol. This will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month. Any girls welcome. - The Schedule - We start at the Phoenix Pub at 7:30-8pm. This is a friendly get together to chat and have a relaxed drink. We may move onto other bars/clubs, Bristol has a great selection of LGBTQ friendly venues either in Old Market or on Frogmore street. - Travel - If driving you can park at Cabot Circus multi-story car park in the centre of Bristol. It is open 24/7 and is only £3 between 5pm and 7am. The pub is directly opposite the back exit of the car park, easy to walk to in heels. Please be aware there is a clean air zone in Bristol. You can avoid this if you enter Cabot Circus car park from the Houlton Street entrance/exit only. If you are arriving by train you may want to get a taxi to the bar as it is a long walk. There is also a number of busses that go into central Bristol. - Accomodation - There is a plethora (always wanted to use that word) of hotels in central Bristol, with various price ranges. Moxy Bristol and The Future Inn hotels are very close to The Phoenix pub where we meet. Another fun evening with the traditional mix of the usual suspects and newcomers. Although I'm pretty much part of the furniture now here, I recommend it for people new to going out or those wanting to build friendships or get to know new people generally. It's a friendly little group and some of us tend to go on from the pub elsewhere afterwards.

Always Worth the drive. something to look forward to every month. especially For those in the barren of events 'Southwest', a very diverse gathering and friendly group of ladies and limited admirers, in all guises of the genre..! thanks to mel for setting up and keeping it going.. |

After many visits to the Bristol night out, it's about time I left a review because it really is a super event. Mel is the perfect host, always welcoming new people and the regular attendees too. The regulars at this event are also so friendly, always up for a few drinks and many laughs. The Phoenix pub is a great venue for this event. It's a regular venue (not trans specific), and that's one of the things I love about this particular night out. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, and the locals are very friendly too, often there for the Northern Soul night that coincides with our night out. The venue is very accessable too regardless of whether you're staying overnight or travelling there and back, with a hotel one side of the pub and a large car park on the other side. So it's a short 2-3 minute walk to the venue either way. |
