Worthing Alternative ‘WA’ is an informal, friendly, and relaxed, gathering of T-girls and their admirers in the West Sussex area and further afield. ‘WA’ meets at THE LOCK-IN @ 2b Ann Street, BN11 1NX, an amazing gay bar in the centre of Worthing. THE LOCK-IN is a friendly cellar type bar with supportive and welcoming staff; a perfect late-night bar for spending a chilled time with friends. The entrance is at the far end of Ann Street (the end nearest the town centre), next door to County Shoe Repairs Shop (the one with the green door) that lays directly across from the entrance to the Guildbourne Centre. For those staying overnight these hotels are very close by, but you are advised to book early! Great first night at the new venue at the Lock-in Bar Worthing. The drag act was superbly funny and has a great voice. It was lovely to meet some new girls and partners to the Worthing event. Brilliant night out Davina Sparkle, the drag act from Brighton, entertained us royally and the atmosphere was fantastic The Lock-in is Worthing's only dedicated LGBTQ 'safe environment' so, girls, if we don't use it - we'll lose it come on down to Worthing for a great night out |
