Port Street continually gets awards and mentions nationally and is rated in the top 10 bars and pubs for craft beer in the Guardian, usually keeping 18 keg and 7 cask beers as well as hundreds of rotating cans and bottles from the world’s best breweries.

This does not mean it is an expensive and stuffy bar full of beards and corduroy, far from it, it has a relaxed, cosy village pub feel and the prices are surprisingly reasonable with a 25% off offer on keg beer during some weekdays.

They also serve simple, cold bar snacks at reasonable prices.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and will make you feel at home and relaxed. If the downstairs area is full there is another surprisingly spacious bar upstairs.
