This bar so falls into the don’t judge a book by its cover category as at first impression its unpretentious rock image and rock loving customers can make you feel it might not be diversity friendly.

In reality both the staff and the customers, who are mostly rock loving students, are friendly and inclusive of everyone so you can feel very safe and welcome here as a gender diverse person.

It is tucked away off Oxford Road down some 19th century cobbles at the base of the iconic steps to Oxford Road station in an historic area known as “little Ireland”.

Prices are reasonable for the city centre, there is a constantly changing range of guest ales and Pizza is served most evenings before 9pm. It is a cashless bar.
