It was a jam-packed line-up with some really great acts. Highlights for me were Imogen Heap and then Olly Alexander with the Trans Voices choir. Trouble with so may acts was that it went on for ever and I couldn't keep standing for that long so had to leave before the end.

This was a truly amazing event where all people can stand united together in support of the Trans community and to see some magnificent performances from great musical artists. Also a wonderful, theatrical performance from Sir Ian McKellen quoting Shakespeare that serves to be extremely relevant in today's society. Great value for money considering the level of musical talent on stage. The 12,500 capacity venue was perfect for a Wednesday evening in the middle of March - many empty seats but looked like close to 10,000 which is pretty good for a "school" night. Staff and security were excellent throughout. I hope there will be another Trans Mission event soon, hopefully at another UK city - Manchester would be a great shout. This event is an amazing way to raise funds for the charities concerned xx |
