MCR’s newest independent queer venue opened at the end of May 2026.

A new queer-led venue, Vada Vada, is named after the Polari word meaning ‘to look’. It's a two-floor spot offering LGBTQ+ events and offerings with club nights, quizzes, cabaret, poetry sessions, daytime workshops, and collective gatherings

OPEN TO ALL! Join us at VADA VADA for the Sparkle Weekend Afterparty, in collaboration with @thedykeagendamcr 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

We're joined on the night by @templewoman, @blujay.mp3 and @chippedpolishuk, who will be whipping up some awesome tunes to celebrate trans joy too!

Best of all, no tickets are required!! We will be fundraising on the night for Sparkle
