I always really enjoy myself here. The staff are friendly, drinks reasonably priced and they play just the right music I like to dance to. X

Another great social in a friendly LGBT pub. It starts relatively quiet (so good for chatting) and then (at about ten o'clock) a dance area is cleared and there is a disco and dancing for those that wish to join in. The pub is free to enter (at the time we go); prices are reasonable for a public house. The venue is set away from other buildings and there is free parking on the road immediately outside. There is security on the door later in the evening. |

Lovely relaxed and welcoming pub. (It's an LGBT pub - there were no problems with the staff or other people.) It got busier as the evening went on; after 10 there is music playing and an opportunity to dance (the music gave a nice vibe but it was more challenging to talk). Prices are very reasonable. They have security staff on a Saturday night at the entrance and also 'patrolling'; gives a real feeling of safety (although there didn't seem to be any hint of a problem). Easy parking outside the venue. |

Nice evening, good location and venue for Chix members. You feel accepted by everyone there. However, if you want a good chat after the disco starts at 10pm, then its best to go outside in the sheltered smoking area. For me, it will be an even better future social venue in the warmer months, when you can sit in the garden near the river there. I hope this becomes a regular event for those of us in Kent, where trans socials seem almost non-existent!
