Glasgow Third Friday "GTF" is a well established event, Been on the go now for over 4 years now . We could be the most active trans+ socials in Scotland 🏴 This is just a regular Social night, not a dating/ hookup group, A Fun night at the pub with friends, the main focus is everyone safe. If you are transgender/transsexual/transvestite/a crossdresser, an ally or a significant other, We're here to support, entertain and inspire in safe, comfortable surroundings. Why not come along and meet some new wonderful friends. We had on average 10 to 15 girls out every time we meet. These nights to be self-reliant and stand on its own. Little input from anyone, just show up and you will have friends there. But it is a social group and you need to interact to benefit from it. So put you name down. We do have a social precense presence on the Forums - Events and Venues - Glasgow third Friday - come and say Hi. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >START POINT: from 6pm to 7pm Starting off at Delmoniaca's - "Dels" Best known bar, at 6pm You can get seats. The bar also does Pizza, the entertainment doesn't start till 9ish, and it's a great wee bar, to start off at to get a quick drink before we move next door to the Riding Room 7pm >THE MAIN FOCUS FOR SOME IS RIDING ROOM at 7pm Most of the girls will just show up at The Riding Room after 7pm and just stay there, there a great cabaret act on till 10pm then they open up the back area good for seats, saves you walking about town and free to get in the Polo before 11pm >SOME GIRLS WANT TO GO OUT TO RANDOM BARS Experance Glasgow and see what's out there, see list below. During summer, we do meet a bit early 4.30pm in The Gallery Bar in the afternoon, it's outside seating and table service. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We can and will change start bars to spice things up. This is just a meeting spot to head out to the delights of The City centre OTHER BARS: Katie's - great busy bar, probably got karaoke/cabaret on, 4pm to midnight. Woodys - The old Speakeasy, more of a sports bar now 6pm to 2am Underground - it's a Manly Bear bar but everyone really friendly. Delmoniaca's - "Dels" Best known bar, at weekend very busy. The Gallery Bar - A man's man Gay bar - Table service and outside seating. Bacchus - Nice wee bar - mostly straight but Trans friendly. Opened all day, The Corset Club - Does food and cabaret acts, it opens 4pm to midnight The Riding room - connected to Polo Lounge club -get in before 11 for free A good bar and not as manic as the Polo, with some cabaret acts, CLUBS: The Polo Lounge - get there before 11 for free, the Club open till 4am. AMX - A very young crowd nightclub. OTHERS: They are others, They are a bit of a walk, but unlikely we will get to. Merchant Pride - Alright bar, only been a couple of times The Waterloo - The oldest gay bar Stereo - A vegan restaurant - very trans friendly bar CJ's - The local swingers club - we rarely have events clashing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ HOTELS:best to book in advance. There are loads of hotels in the area about 5 to 10 minutes away, Revolver, The Spires, Ibis Styles, Mercure, Brunswick hotel, Premier Inn George Sq, Travel lodge Queen St, Z hotel, AC hotel The Social Hub, MAKEOVERS: We don't offer any dressing service, but we do have makeup girls For makeovers in the city centre, St. Vincent lane/Buchanan St Just google"Planet Babe" Ania or "Jenny Workman " is an amazing artist £40 a pop. This was the Glasgow Third Friday GTF for July First time we decided to meet for Glasgow Pride instead. Unfortunately we picked Delmonica's and that was mobbed Same with , Katie's and Speakeasy but we managed to get a table Outside at Bacchus and we stayed there until 11ish? Speakeasy is rarely an unpleasant place for trans-girls. Many of the usual suspects were in attendance, and there were faces I hadn't seen before. A super night out and I look forward to another gathering of the trans.

Great wee night out, too many girls to count , I'm sorry I couldn't catch up with everyone promise next time. I had to bow out early also spending the week out and dressed. Just gets too noisy to hear that was my only complaint but that probably an age thing. Fabulous night Kimberley |

It was a great event and time had by all, Kim did a splendid job organising it, and was great to see her despite her injury, brave girl. Turnout was great for this time of year, also thanks to Speakeasy for putting up with us and for the delicious dinners xx Roll on the next Scottish girls night xx
