A lot of Nottingham Chameleons girls go socialise on thursday nights at this venue.Thursday nights are typically 'trans' nights in Notts.
Wednesday evening sees a local trans support group "Re-Creation" meeting every week.
Whatever night you go in you are in friendly company though.

Nottingham Invasion. Welcome to Nottingham's ONLY 'Trans' night out. To anyone visiting this event for the first time, please understand this is a vanilla social gathering for trans folk, their associated friends, partners and admirers. All welcome but please understand this is not a sex meet. This is a night which starts at the most friendly LGBT pub in town, 'The New Foresters'. We then crawl our way round a few pubs and clubs and then head back to the New Foresters for late night food, drinks and eventually taxi's. This night out is for TGirls, Transexuals, Men, Women, Partners, Admirers and Friends! We fly the flag of LGBT and its values. Nottingham Invasion is a vanilla social group, we are Not a sex meet but simply put, a good club night out for the whole community. For girls needing help with makeup, we now have an approved makeup artist (Sali Jones) who has her own studio behind the Lord Roberts Pub in central Nottingham (very close by either to the Hilton or Mecure Hotel). She is available on most Invasion nights offering up her makeover services to you all. Any questions, drop her an email at sali@msmoomakeup.com or for further details http://www.msmoomakeup.com. Great food available. Drag Queens, Beer Garden and cheesy music. Free round of shots if you arrive early enough! Newmarket Inn Directly over the road from Pryzm. Brew Dog Nottingham (Broad Steet) Real Ale Pub situated by New Market. ACCOMODATION Hilton Hotel (5min walk through Victoria Centre shopping mall) Mercure Hotel (5min walk from NG1) Ibis Hotel (10min walk from NG1) Jurys Inn (5min taxi ride) Also some of the local girls in the group maybe able to accommodate. Post a request in the group to see if anyone can help. Parking: New Foresters has limited free car park attached and is covered by CCTV. Overnight parking is available here (just don't block anyone in) Also: 24hour secure multistory carpark is 5min walk away from The Foresters Pub. Entrance is on Bluecoat street / Woodborough Road and you should look out for 'Victoria Centre White zone parking'. (dont use the other underground carpark, this is not 24hours!) On street parking is free after 8pm on Huntingdon Street. Good turnout last night and I managed to drag some girls away from the New Foresters again. Slight hiccup in the plan when we found one pub closed, but of course, there's always another pub nearby!!

I'm a quiet and shy person and was made very welcome by Simone, Sarah, and Mandy, I enjoyed the evening, my very first time having a girlie night out as Megan, the pubs especially The New Forresters were all great, will definitely be attending again, thank you to everyone xxx

Small turnout but Nottingham was quiet generally. Think everyone had spent their beer money the week before while watching the Euros. Had to leave early due to being at work next morning, but nice to chat with those that turned up. |

Fairly quiet night but wandered down into town to my favourite pub. Arring back at the NF at about1:15am the joint was jumping.
