Open day re 'T' drop in and chat every Tuesday is now at CADAS,52 Paradise st, Barrow in Furness, LA14 1JG. 'One to one' room available.
Girls night once a month usually the second Tuesday.
Parking at night behind the Town Hall with a short walk to the venue.

A good night last night at CADAS. One person called on the night havnt seen since December. The Cumbria fused dichroic glass jewellery was very good together with trans recycled jewellery the former will be a regular feature on the nights. Then into the Crystal Palace very busy, on leaving the police where busy with control work near the Barrow Arms which makes our group feel safer on leaving. One extra plus was the one and only 'Jack' being in the bar trying cocktails something he has done with us in the past. x

The nights went well with the Rev Sheila Hughes giving a reading and candle lit memorial for Transgender Day of Remembrance. After that the Arbonne lady gave a cosmetics talk and facial to one of the girls before we went onto Sophias in Town.

Hi The evening was attended by 5 trans members. This is the amount who usually attend now. The individuals change and we get some travelling from Lancaster and Kirkby Stephen. Lee Wicks of Friends and Supporters of the Furness LGBT Community decorated the room, at CADAS, with fairy lights which added to the atmosphere. After 10pm as usual we went into town to The Albion and then Sophias nightclub. Finishing around 2.30am. |

The night started at CADAS and all of the group arrived by about 8.30pm. Two new girls came along, one from Kendal the other from Kirby Stephen. Alll the group talked for a while and also Skyped a TS in New York and chatted whilst we where there. After that we went to Yates in Barrow where we had a dance or two. Two of the girls left for home due to travel distance and the remainder went to Sophias Bar for a last drink at about 2pm. The general consensus was that it was an enjoyable night. xx |
