Question. What can be finer than afternoon tea served in real china cups. A visit to Queen Bea's afternoon gathering, that's what. A very sociable and genteel affair set during the day when one can find a good excuse to get away and be a little bit sociable for a few hours. This particular event was a very small affair, but nonetheless enjoyable and the company polite and civilised. Queen Bea herself was the idea host, provided makeover services for those girls who fancied being pampered, but excellent changing facilities those already prepared or needing to dress. There was a good spread on too. Coffee, tea, sandwiches, scones and chocolate biscuits. There was a small charge to attend, but the chance of having a safe haven to dress during the day made it all worth it and something to really look forward too. You'll also meet some very nice people to who are just like you, so no need for any kind of embarrassment if you are feeling shy. A warm welcome will be felt. Let's just hope the weather is a little better for the next gathering. Bea has just a wonderful enclosed garden, which would have been an excellent haven if the sun had shone!

Lovely to see everyone last night. We talked about name changes, GIC and the new T with the Queen. Come along to this friendly group and see how we can support you. |

After a lockdown of Zoom meetings, we finally got to catch up over a BBQ (in the rain of course, it being Britain). It was fabulous to see everyone. |
