MKPride CIC

MKPrideCIC is a not-for-profit organisation, registered as a Community Interest Company.
This means that members of the organisation provide their skills, time and/or services free of charge.
Funds are required to cover costs of the MKPride Day where we come together to celebrate our part in the LGBTQ and wider community.
Any financial surplus (profit) is then put back into the community by donating it to local charities and not-for-profit groups.
Our Aim

To help to educate, support and influence the “inclusion without judgement”, of the LGBTQ community.
To stand alongside and work with existing and established organisations, within the broader community.
To help raise awareness and support and to become a recognised element within and around Milton Keynes
To celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ community.

Our Achievements

Registered with Companies House and was given CIC status – 30th March 2012
Held the very first MKPride Event as The Very First LGBTQ Inclusion & Awareness Event – 18th August 2012
Won Award of Excellence presented by MKEC (Milton Keynes Equality Council) – 6th December 2012
