The Duke of Wellington is part of the national "j.d wetherspoons" pub chain, this particular also has a hotel as well, situated in the town centre of Minehead by Victoria Square and offers the usual 'spoons' menu.

Minehead is the nearest large town for those frequenting St.Audries in May & Sept and has a large array of well known high street shops plus some local independent retailers as well as a plethora of charity outlets.

I have been into the the pub a few times in female mode recently (Sept / Oct 2014, April & July 2015) and not on a 'St.Audries' week I personally found the staff friendly and inquizitive, with no problems using the correct loo for the attire being worn.
