Traditional tea room located at the Eastern end of the Promenade on the sea front and adjacent to the Redoubt Fortress & Military Museum. It has with its own outdoor grassed patio area and serves a reasonable range of traditional goodies (cream teas, etc).

In the the building for a limited time is the (free) Eastbourne Ancestors exhibition, which is worth a visit in it's own right, especially as their is an opportunity to dress like a Saxon.

Have been twice in 2014 and was served promptly and courteously too, so no problem with being discreet in the TG community and also using the correct loo for the attire being worn.
