Under new management from 2016 - so the following no longer applies, I suspect

Open from 5pm Tuesday to Sunday, and, according to the owner, this ostensibly gay pub is certainly transgender friendly. I've only popped in briefly the once thus far, to request permission to advertise on Chix, but the place is fab. When I asked the owner, Stuart, about changing facilities for Tgirls, he said it should be ok, but perhaps best, he said, to email him :

On a pub website, I found this review :
'I work for an LGBT Charity in London and have to say this is a very refreshing venue. Light and bright, full of characters and a great place to have a drink. I would have no hesitation recommending The Royal Standard to anyone being gay or straight. The staff were fun and well managed.

NOTE - Having popped in again, Jan 16th, 2016, ....It's now changed hands. Not, most likely, as LGBT friendly as before. Best to call to confirm, I suggest
