Well....I just don't know where to begin. Shocking. Of the two hosts, one was utterly atrocious- when we arrived, we thought there must have just been a kitchen fire and she'd been badly burnt then put out with a golf shoe. The other host made the onions cry whilst she was preparing food. Following on from that we were served Aldi Lambrini and maltesers. For some reason though, most of the chocolate had been removed. What really upset me was the fact that there were grown bloody blokes mincing about the place wearing bloody dresses! Christ, you've never seen anything like it. If I'd just had a cricket bat.... Our main course of fish fingers and baked beans was interestingly all cooked in the microwave. Resulting in most of us having scolded, blistered lips for the rest of the evening. Desert of swiss roll somehow seemed to start a contentious debate over who got what of it- turns out no one wanted it and this resulted in a punch up across the table. Broken fingernails in the wine glasses added to the glamour as one person choked near to death on them shortly after. After dinner drinks was replaced with twelve 1 gallon pitchers of IrnBru & vodka, and was consumed hastily. Further fighting was a continuing feature of the evening. Company was terrible. Bearded pirates would be a close comparison of most. And they smelled funny. Strange clothes too I noticed- knitted things with draylon and fuzzy felt. I slept out in the chicken shed as I just didn't feel safe. Which proved to be jolly right, as when I woke in the morning I found myself with a vintage bicycle wedged in my bum crack and a curly wurly smeared across my chops. I shall definitely be attending the next one. |
