Description:
The Rivoli Ballroom is one of the last remaining intact 1950's style ballroom left in London. Designed by Henley Attwater with a simple barrel-vaulted auditorium it first opened in July 1913. The ballroom has a sprung Maple dance floor, which not only looks gorgeous but is easy on the feet! The venue has a plush red velvet interior, a plethora of chandeliers and stunning giant Chinese lanterns. There are two lovely side bars, a stunning Ladies Boudoir and changing facilities on site. The ballroom has a glamorous, old-fashioned and courteous ambience and attracts a friendly, mixed local crowd. It also has an impressive track record in supporting the LGBT community, and staff are warm and polite. It's a beautiful, safe and welcoming place.
Opening times are 8pm -1am.
Its a residential area and there is lots of nearby parking space.

Years ago I went to The Magic Theatre which was a delightful evening. Going back to the Glitter Ball was just as wonderful with a beautiful venue, lovely staff, great music and atmosphere. So many people making a great effort to look fabulous is the perfect way to spend an evening. I love wearing my new floor length evening gown and this is the perfect venue. Can’t wait for the next one.

An Amazing night in a fabulous venue. It is so wonderful to really be able to get dressed up in the most outrageous extravagant outfits and enjoy the fabulous costumes others have put together. I'll definitely be back and will enjoy watching this event become everything that Magic Theater was and more. I cant recommend enough.

Early days for this event – not as well attended or as colourful as Magic Theatre but probably unfair to compare. Still a fun evening in a lovely venue with friendly, sympathetic people.
