An utterly fantastic venue.....and one that I had last entered forty-one years ago!!!! It was then a derelict property due for demolition....but still retained an air of fallen grandeur from years long since gone! It has, in the ensuing years, since been miraculously saved and Grade ll listed. It's magnificent Edwardian style interior features, opulent fittings and side chambers with additional seating lends itself to an event such as the 'Magic Theatre', not to mention the fabulous sprung dance floor! In all a wonderful event with some superb costumes, and an ideal eclectic mix of all genders......a night to remember. |

A truly super, wonderful, beautiful, gorgeous night at my favourite club in all the world !!.....as it has been for many a year ! How fabulous, as always, to be back again !! ...and to see again and catch up with dear and longstanding friends x x x (apologies to those friends that I didn't manage to catch up with at length x x x)...and to say 'hi' to and to make new friends too x x .....and to dance so !! Once again a fantastic night at the Magic Theatre. There were the usual issues with queuing for drinks - but considering the numbers attending this has improved, and besides where else would you chat like that to total strangers? OK, in the queue for the ladies! But for the full Budouir experience the queue seems an integral part! The band were a-maze-zing - most excellent indeed! The DJ set as normal was far better before the band than after, but good party stuff none the less... As usual I got to see some faces I only seem to see these days at MT - so good to catch up with everyone... and some outstanding outfits - everyone seems to put a lot of thought and effort into what they wear to MT. Finally thanks to Clare and all who's hard work make this such a special night - besides, where else would I wear some of my outfits other than to The Magic Theatre??? |

Magic Theatre Is a Must do event despite it being tricky to get to as you'll probably have to drive there It's well worth going to. Yes its ends at 1am but still a fab night out with so many lovely Party goings all dressed up in fab costumes. It was so great to see so many of my lovely T- Girlfriends there too all looking gorgeous xxx Highly Recommended that you put this in your diaries for next year just add Magic Theatre on Facebook for all the info |

A splendid evening in a wonderful venue. Great crowd and fantastic band. Even queueing for the bar was fun just for the people watching. A big thanks to all involved in organising it.

This was my third expedition to Magic Theatre and I think the best yet. This venue has to be seen to be believed and this ballroom would make a terrific setting for anything between a ballroom dancing championship and Strictly Come Dancing! Decor, lighting, layout period furnishings.......I could wax lyrical for hours. Add in a heady blend of some marvelous friends all in the same place, fab music, sprung dance floor and endless mirrors and this is an event not to be missed. My companion Victor was dressed as Horatio Nelson and me as a flapper....that is an 'f' thank you very much! Victor was a perfect gentleman all night and great company. The atmosphere is second to none and really friendly, good security on the door. All very good natured apart from the queue jumper on the door who got the full Ava treatment. Seriously girls this is one to make an effort and save some pennies for. Pure magic! Ava ( still coming down from the weekend ) PS If there is anyone who was on the N171 going back to Camberwell, it was surreal wasn't it? |

Great night out, I didn't get much dancing done... I was too busy people watching. I would recommend going, it's a shame it's only on a couple of times a year :-(

Absolutely awesome event - all it's cracked up to be and more It was just a shame it was over so soon! 5 hours is not long enough for this event Clocks went back on the night but event still finished at 1am BST. Shame we were not granted an extra hour - now that would have been truly magical! :-) I will definitely go again. All I would say to anyone reading this with a view to going for the first time is feel free to wear whatever you want - there is no need for any inhibition whatsoever at the Magic Theatre! Highly recommended |
