Not the sitcom with Victoria Wood and Julie Walters, but a monthly meet-up for girls who like to dine out together. (And well-behaved gentlemen ). It will probably be early each month, and usually in central London.. Locations will vary, and times may be different to take advantage of menu offers. Number will be limited to SIX, for ease of seating and conversation. Please put your name down only if you are sure of coming....no Maybe's please. Unless someone orders significantly less, or has no wine, we will be splitting the final bill equally.
This month we are at the iconic Oxo Tower, on the South Bank. Table booked for 8.30, repeat 8.30, slightly later than usual. This is to take advantage of their summer set dining menu...£45 for three courses with a glass of sparkling wine or choice of two cocktails. If you want to eat from the a-la-carte menu it will cost more and we would ask you to pay seperately. Tube stations Waterloo (then walk along the South Bank), Blackfriars (walk over the bridge), or Southwark (find your own way).
Pre-dinner drinks from 7.45 at The Understudy Bar, on the NE corner of the National Theatre on the South Bank, where there is outside seating if weather permits.
