Wednesday 1st April
Trans people, along with our cis friends and allies, have been meeting and socialising midweek in Manchester since the late 1970s. That tradition is still going strong. Whether you’re completely new to this, a cross-dresser finding your feet, a full-time trans woman or anywhere in between, you are welcome to join us and find what works for you.
We usually have a well-trodden every-Wednesday schedule with two options depending on your experience and interests but as I am working Wednesday this week I can not be out facilitating a city option so unless anyone steps forward to do it for me, there will not be one this week.
🌈 The Village Option
For locals and regulars, visitors, novices and those who prefer scene bars and familiar locations. Please bear in mind that times are approximate.
6:00pm – 9:00pm
You’ll usually find some of us in Via or Velvet on Canal Street.
8:00pm-ish – 11:00pm
Ladies meet up at Iconic Bar on Richmond Street- a relaxed, friendly little bar where you get 10% off drinks just for being trans 🙂
11:00pm-ish onwards
People usually drift back to Via on Canal Street or to The Goose, New York New York or Centre Stage on Bloom Street.
🏙️ The City Option
I am working this Wednesday so I won't be able to facilitate the city option this week, if anyone would like to step up and do that for me, please let me know and I will post the details here for you.
