Someone keeps voting my images low

Image Rating Complaints
tvChix allows you to set your profile to invite people to rate your images, on a scale of 1-10.
By allowing people to rate your images, you should accept that it is intended to be just a bit of fun, and not to be taken too seriously
But I dont want 1 votes!
1 votes do seem to cause some annoyance for people, who feel they don't deserve any 1 votes at all.
If you are inviting people to rate your images, please remember that you must accept that you will get some votes which are not to your liking.
This does not necessarily mean it is malicious on behalf of the voter, simply that they didn't like your pic for whatever reason. Everyones tastes are different, after all.
If you are unable to accept the fact that your images are not to the liking of everyone, we recommend you disable your image ratings completely.
But someone is repeatedly voting me a 1!
People are able to vote for a given pic only once.
Whilst the website might allow various tricks which make it appear as if you're placing a vote repeatedly, the most recent vote simply overwrites the previous one.
We do have measures in place to ensure that prolific and apparently malicious 1-voters are removed from the site.
I'm sure its a conspiracy to stop me being Top Babe
1 votes do not harm your chance of becoming Top Babe. If anything, they increase it, because Top Babe is based on the sum of all votes, and not the average.
A recent check on 1-votes (of users who had not been banned for malicious voting), showed that whilst several users had placed many 1 votes, it was far outweighed by the favourable votes they had also placed.
This is not abuse. They are entitled to vote your images a 1 if thats what they think. Sorry and all :-(
Please do not complain in the forums about your image ratings, as the thread will routinely be moved to the Time Out forum.
If you are unhappy with the prospect of receiving any 1 votes, we recommend you disable your Image Ratings in My Account -> My Profile Preferences.
