Located on the corner of New Row and St. Martin’s Lane, Mr Fogg’s Tavern lies in the heart of theatre-land. Left by Fogg’s late Aunt Gertrude to her loyal housekeeper Fanny McGee, her home has been transformed into a haven for art-lovers and theatre-folk to enjoy a selection of snacks and delicious tipples. Patrons can marvel at the walls and ceilings bedecked with an eccentric array of memorabilia and can now enjoy drinks in our large outdoor seating area.

One of several restaurants in Heddon Street, which is a cul-de-sac off the West Side of Regent Street. Cuisine is modern European. Fairly expensive unless there is a special offer going. Heddon Street is also the location of The Colony Room bar, which is listed here. Close by is the doorway where the photo for the cover of David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album was taken, designated by a plaque. See their website for opening times. Parking in the area is very difficult. The nearest tube stations are Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus. There are bus stops nearby in Regent Street.

A bar which is a recreation of the famous / notorious Colony Room which was in Dean Street, Soho, and was the haunt of artists and writers. This new bar was established by artist Darren Coffield, and is in Heddon Street, off the West side of Regent Street, across the road from the Tommy Hilfiger shop. The street was the location for the cover photo of Bowie's Ziggy Stardust album, and there is a plaque to commemorate it outside no.23. The bar is in the basement of the Ziggy Green restaurant, and entry is via a door around the corner of the restaurant with a no.4 on the door. You will see some stairs lit by red neon. Go down the stairs and the door to the bar is on the right. Drinks

A steak restaurant with a fairly basic menu. Reasonable prices for food and wine. Not a place for vegetarians! Opening hours: Sun-Tues 12.00 to 22.00, Wed-Thurs 12.00 to 23.00, Fri-Sat 12.00 to 23.30. As always in Central London, parking is difficult, but there is a parking garage in Brewer Street, nearby. Nearest tube stations are Piccadilly Circus or Oxford Circus.

A busy Central London pub, next to Leicester Square tube station. Handy for nearby theatres. Normal Pub hours. Pub food. Parking in the area is next to impossible. Not a gay pub.
