Hey there! I'm Jess, I've been crossdressing for over 17 years. I joined this site in the hope of meeting other crossdressers in my local area who are of similar age to me (32). Otherwise I'm happy to chat about just about anything (but not that).
I like dressing mostly in outfits that my girl friends would go clubbing in, so I guess I'm looking for people who wear the same kind of thing mostly (and, y'know, actually want to go out to bars and clubs for real). Style icons include Laura Lee of Khruangbin, and basically any actress with long black hair (I'm that basic).
Been out to clubs and bars a few times, but I'm also cool with just meeting up to have a girly night in somewhere! After we get to know each other first, of course (I don't ask for much, just a little more than "hi how r u"). Bristol-based most of the year, but I'm ready to venture further afield for the right nights out! I have my eyes on events like BNO but just need the right kick out the door to convince my (non-driving) ass that I can afford to make the trip!
I am a brown-haired (entirely shaved off these days) boy moonlighting as a black-haired girl. My brown eyes betray this terrible secret. 5"10 in flats, so I don't go super high with the heels. Makeup skills have come a long way but still learning.
BOOBS: This seems to be the main thing I get questions about! They aren't real. My boobs are either a Roanyer breastplate, a Boobshop breastplate or my own girls held together by a small belt, outfit dependent. C Cup, silicone filler x
In my boy life, I play bass in a touring hard rock band, I do improv comedy and I enjoy tabletop RPGs (mostly D&D 5e) with friends. Also screenwriting. Ask me about any of them!

Also, PLEASE NO MALE ADMIRERS! I appreciate it, but I don't why you need it spelled out any clearer! I'm into women, which I know is kind of doomed to fail 90% of the time, but honestly I've been very happy with the other 10% with previous girlfriends (having been upfront about Jess from the start).
In true gold-digger fashion, though, I will absolutely possibly maybe make exceptions for anyone willing to buy me something off the wish-list though, mwahahaha x

02/10/12 Today marks the first day that Jessica has ever been seen in person by someone else :) Literally over the moon to have finally taken this step. The only other thing I will say is... I have the best friend in the world :) I can't thank her enough for her support <3 xxx
23/03/13 Things have been going great with my dressing. Up until last night. Tried to take a big step to meet a fellow dresser (hayleytv09) and by the end of the night he had completely shattered my trust by tricking me and stealing one of my wigs (along with a few other bits and bobs). I guess I'm responsible for it all happening and I've paid the price - but I just want people to know that they shouldn't trust hayleytv09 and that he's a terrible person. x
27/02/14 Wow, almost a year since I last updated this thing... So I haven't dressed much in the last year, but when I have it's been amazing. Over last summer, I had several days just hanging out with my girl friends in Bournemouth dressed up in their house which was so much fun :) I even went out to the Triangle in town one night with a few people which was terrifying but felt great (probably helped that it wasn't too busy). Planning on going out again this Saturday with some people (1st March), so I'll let you guys know how that goes :)

17/03/14 Got my first ever breast forms through in the post today! So long using socks for padding! Also got some butt pads on the way, so keep an eye on my figure in the next few months ;)
05/07/14 Had a night out at the Triangle last night, which was AWESOME! Had a really great time, and it was nice to be me in such a judgement free environment. I only wish I drunk less and remembered more of it! Actually no. I have no regrets.
06/08/14 This past Saturday I had an amazing day in Southampton (apart from a very delayed train home) at Lizzy Hants dressing service! Never thought I'd do anything like it, but definitely don't regret it. Lizzy had a fantastic wardrobe and was great to talk to while she did my make up and took my picture - definitely beats the constant selfies... Anywho, if you're looking for a great makeover down South, I couldn't recommend her more :)
ALSO, hitting up the Triangle again this Friday for another night out (most likely the last one while I'm here in Bournemouth) so keep your eyes peeled for me, and I'll let you know how it goes afterwards!
20/01/15 Unfortunately, I'm on a temporary hiatus from dressing up, as my clothes are all in storage whilst I live with my parents post-uni. Hope to be back at it as soon as I get my own place!

19/03/17 SO, life update. Got back into dressing in a big way after moving into my new place (housemates are both cool with it). Had an amazing makeover at Boys Will Be Girls (see new pics, leave some love on them!) in January, and have ventured out into Bristol with some girl friends for the first time in early March, which was equally excellent :) looking forward to getting out on the scene more! YAY x
23/04/17 Had a great night out with erindoors (look her up on here, she's lovely!) at Glitzy Girls a few weeks back. Also dressed up with my sister for the first time ever last week, which was a lovely big step. We had a lot of fun and she taught me some great makeup tips. Anyway, feeling good and enjoying this side of me when I can :) x

31/08/2021 Well, I finally did it. I came out as a crossdresser to EVERYONE with a mass post on my main male Facebook. It has been three days and I have received nothing but love and support and, honestly, it has just been overwhelming in the best way. Nobody has unfriended me, old friends I haven't spoken to in years have reached out and many are saying they can't wait to meet Jess. I'm over the moon, so if I have any advice following this, "Just. Do. The. Thing. You're. Scared. Of." I know I have been very fortunate here, but the plus sides definitely outweigh the downsides. Anyway, very happy :) x

14/09/2021 Had an amazing visit to Femme Side Studio, courtesy of Trasha yesterday :) we created some great looks and the whole afternoon was so perfectly relaxing. Pictures will follow soon no doubt! For now, 100% recommend x

31/10/2021 Used Halloween ask an excuse to share some photos on my male Facebook, and everyone seems to be loving them so far (and also very confused about my boobs). Had some wonderful celebrity comparisons, which made my heart grow three sizes :D Also went out to a house party dressed up and almost nobody recognised me (and were then shocked when I reintroduced myself). Feeling very good about stuff :) x

Other highlights from the last 6 months - went out during the day for the first time for Bristol Pride, and absolutely loved it!
