This was the coffee shop that started the artisanal coffee shop wave in Manchester. Their coffee is naturally excellent, nice staff but there's something about the chilled 'vibe' of this shop that you will love.

Clean, tidy, functional and quirkily decorated budget hotel with smallish but adequate rooms. Bedroom lighting is a little dim but the bathrooms have a nice large make up mirror and good bright lighting.

Reasonable location for Canal Street, turn left out of hotel and walk along Charles Street for two minutes, then take the fifth left onto Princess Street (large junction with traffic lights) and after one minute you will see the New Union and Canal Street on your right. Neither Charles Street or Princess Street are that busy with pedestrians but they are busy with traffic.
