Description:
Public gardens with a cafe with many outdoor tables, where we meet. (Walk from Villiers Street through the big space with flower beds.) The cafe closes about 5pm but the tables are still available for use. There are public toilets behind the cafe, or nearby on Victoria Embankment, open until early evening, or in Charing Cross station, a few minutes walk away.Embankment tube station (District Line) is adjacent to the gardens. Can also be reached from the South Bank by walking across the pedestrian bridge either side of Hungerford railway bridge.
