One of a popular chain serving a basically French brasserie menu, in Soho, which is an LGBT-friendly area. Opening hours Monday - Sunday 9am to 10pm. Reasonably priced, with a good value prix fixe menu all evening Monday to Thursday, and to 7pm on Friday. Street parking in the area is next to impossible. There is an NCP car park in Brewer Street, nearby. Nearest tube station is Piccadilly Circus.
Wardour Street was the centre of the British film industry in the twentieth century and several major production and distribution companies had their headquarters there. It was also for a time the location of the famous Marquee Club.

Monday fun day. Lovely night out in a damp Soho. Started in The Ship, jovial place with happy bar staff, shiver me timbers, back out into the wet and a short totter to Cote. Strangely quiet. Sea food excellent. Round off with making sure The French House and Gerry's were still there. Thank you Tina for organising and looking forward to the next |
