![]() 🎉 Leeds First Friday – The UK’s largest trans+ social event! By the trans community, for the trans community. And for anyone who loves a night out that’s fabulous and gloriously unpredictable. 🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🤩 It’s the first Friday of the month, so why not trade your Netflix queue for a night out where the cocktails are strong, the chats are long, and the community vibe is as warm as your heated throw. 👋 Meet the LFF Team Hiya, I’m Grai, just one of the many organisers who help make this magic happen every month. We are a whole crew of legends working together to pull off an event that feels effortless but isn’t (seriously, have you tried coordinating us?). From volunteers to event hosts to support groups, this team is all about creating a night to remember for everyone. LFF has been running for over 15 years, and it’s grown into a mix of big meet-ups, craft ale tours, and glamorous cocktail bars. Whether you fancy a chinwag, a boogie, or just finding a corner to people-watch, you’re in the right place. 👏 Newcomers – We’ve Got You! First time at LFF? Don’t panic—everyone’s been there. Our newcomer event, Made It!, is the perfect way to ease in. Join us from 7-8 pm at the Bridge Bar (no, not Bridge End Social...we love our Bridge themed venues!). It’s low-pressure, friendly, and a great way to kickstart your night, helped along by a growing team who are there to settle you in. 🗺️ Can’t Find Your Way? We’ve got a map! Check out www.leedsfirstfriday.com/map to explore all the venues and events. Or just follow the glitter trail. 📱 There’s an App for That! Stay in the loop with drinks discounts, makeup details, venue details, and safety updates via the LFF App. It’s like your personal PA. Visit www.leedsfirstfriday.com/app on your phone to get started. 🎉 The Big Meetup Kick things off at Bridge End Social from 7 pm. It’s a great spot with two floors and plenty of room to chat without someone yelling ‘Wonderwall’ in the background. Plus, they do breakfast the next day. Perfect for post-night-out recovery or pretending you’re a morning person. 💄 Get Ready to Shine Our makeup artists and stylists are here to help you look and feel fabulous. Book early to avoid disappointment, unless you’re fine with winging that eyeliner in the taxi. MUA listings in the app. 🏩 Where to Stay From the Marriott to the Travelodge, there’s a hotel to suit every budget and every level of post-night-out regret. Feeling adventurous? Stay further out, save some cash, and hop in a taxi. Just remember to tip your driver—especially if they don’t complain about your sequins on the seat. ‼ Friendly Reminder LFF is a social event for connection, fun, and community—not a dating mixer. If romance is your mission, there are other events for that. At Leeds First Friday, you’re never just a face in the crowd—you’re part of something bigger. A community built on joy, connection, and being unapologetically yourself. Whether you’re here to make new friends, rediscover old ones, or simply soak in the good vibes, we can’t wait to welcome you. For all the details, visit www.leedsfirstfriday.com. |

This was my first time attending this event and wasn't quite sure what to expect. Went to the Bridge Bar first for the new attendee's introduction, and met some lovely girls there and was made welcome, then went to Bridge End Social where there were lots more girls, and got chatting with a few then all of us moved on to start the 'new venues' tour (pubs never visited before). All venues were accepting of the Trans Community, and all the girls I chatted with were really friendly. x p.s. wear sensible shoes as some places are 'standing room only'. x |

Possibly the quietest LFF I’ve ever been too, several venues were absolutely dead. Fibre was empty in spite of free cocktails for t-girls in the VIP lounge. I think the recent anti trans government rhetoric hasn’t helped but spiralling upward hotel and parking costs have also taken a toll on numbers in my opinion.

Wow I went and a conclave of bitches led by Celeste made me the new pope! Yes Pope Suzy! The ceremony was held in a Viaduct and gin was used as holy water! I'm not sure the church will recognise my new position; as chief witch Celeste is the devil in disguise! But the whole process just about sums up the low brow nightlife in Leeds. It was fun, sort of... Tally Ho....
