The Mean-Eyed Cat is a Deep South-inspired dive bar and for the hell of it every day at their Happy Hour from 5-9pm you get to roll a dice. If you roll a 6 you get your round for free. Roll a 2 or 4 and get 25% off your bill.

Styling itself as a little rebellious and a lot raucous, they are an ode to the rock ‘n’ roll legend Johnny Cash.

The staff are chilled and fun, the furniture is comfortable, the music is rock and enjoyable, the pizzas are delicious, there is really very little not to like about this novel and mould breaking concept.

Later in the evening around 7pm their other bar, Tiki Hideaway, will open downstairs. This is a Hawaiian themed rum shack with a nice atmosphere serving Caribbean inspired cocktails including the famous flaming zombie.
