By Vanesa. Really good night with all the chixters that attended (7). We got a good spot in the pub, very comfy. The atmosphere was lovely lots of chatting, banter and too many drinks. LOL We stayed there till closing time as time flew. |

We had a wonderful night which fun and bizarre acts on the Wotever show... followed by a DJ playing music that everyone loves to dance to, including 80's dance music.... I was definitely in my element. There were 4 on us T girls from the event being posted on TVchixs and we shared a table as we watched the show. There were a few other Tgirls around the place so we definitely fitted in and many wonderful and diverse others from all sorts of groups... the atmosphere was electric and very friendly. I will post this event again soon.... thanks to all who made the effort. XXX |

This was my very first night out. Hollie who arranged the event was really helpful when I emailed her about it beforehand. I arrived a little late about 9pm and couldn't get in as the place was full, damn it! Apparently it's not usually that busy but it had been advertised as a freshers week thing for students so it was busier than usual. It meant I missed all the cabaret which went on until 10.30pm, but after getting all dressed and spending 50 minutes melting on very hot tubes to get there i decided to hang around as the bouncer (who was very nice and friendly, but still wouldn't let me or anyone else in earlier, despite our best efforts to charm him!) said we'd get in at 10.30. It was interesting chatting to the other people waiting outside anyway. Finally we were allowed in when a lot of people left as the cabaret ended, and I met up with Hollie who was totally lovely (as well as gorgeous!) and immediately made me feel so welcome, the DJ came on and the dancing started until midnight - too short a time but everyone was really friendly, the music was great for dancing, (once I'd had a drink and let go a bit...) and I had a fab time. So for me, as a first night out, sadly just too short, but I would go again, the venue and the people were really good. |

This was the first night we had arranged to meet at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern for a fun night with the queer folk of London.. we saw 5 different acts from drag queens and male burlesque dancer to poem reading and a super woman flying around the stage in latex. We are planning another night soon. |
