Description:
Note: Muse used to be Labels. There's been a makeover, and the feel is warmer, cosier, candle-lit. Look for Bar Italia, across from Ronnie Scott's, and Muse is to its immediate right. The bar normally caters for women of lesbian and bi-sexual inclination and their friends, but this is a special night aimed at the trans community and their friends, and the general Soho bohemian crowd; in other words, all genders are welcome. There aren't any playrooms because it's not that sort of evening. Other venues exist for that! But there are darker corners suitable for a kiss and a cuddle! If you want to get changed, you can come from about 6pm onwards. The bar is downstairs, so take care when descending in heels!
Street parking in Soho is next to impossible, although you might find a place in Golden Square, just north of Brewer Street. The nearest car parks are: NCP car park in Brewer Street, W1F 0LA (0345 050 7080) and slightly nearer: Q-Park, 20 Newport Place, WC2H 7PR,(020 7287 5951). It's just a few minutes walk from either. Booking ahead may be cheaper. The nearest tube stations are Leicester Square or Piccadilly Circus, from which it is a few minutes walk. If you get a few looks - so what? Confidence is all. Of course, you could arrive by taxi, or even a rickshaw!
Soho is generally a T-friendly area, and there are various gay bars nearby. Muse is in Frith Street, a few yards north of Old Compton Street. It's next door to Bar Italia, the long-established Soho coffee bar. (John Logie Baird first demonstrated television in the building. See the blue plaque.) Ronnie Scott's Club is just a bit further on the opposite side. Don't worry if there is a police car nearby, (maybe even an armed-response unit!), they like to drop in to Bar Italia or Cafe Nero for a coffee!
The bar will be open from about 6pm. until late ( 1am-ish). Happy Hour(s) go until 9pm. Ask to see the Happy Hour offers. Food is available.

More of you should come along to join us. The more the merrier, even if you just drop in for a quick one before going to the other dens of Soho. And it's not too hard to find. Look out for Bar Italia in Frith Street and Muse is right next door. Or, find Cafe Nero on the corner and Muse is almost opposite.

got there a bit early ...unless you are changing you might want to come a bit later after 9. I like this venue and the music is good but not enough people go. Maybe because people cant find it as its just a door way to the downstairs bar. Anyway, there were a few of us there so im glad I went. sldo checked out French house and trisha's afterwards. |

Had to leave early, but it looked as if it would be an interesting night. Why don't more girls come early? The trouble is that by the time they arrive, others have already moved on somewhere else. |

Although a quiet night, as always, great welcome and fantastic company. Tina is such a convivial host, Ms Ross a delight as always and nice to actually have a conversation with other admirers. So relaxed, a true social event, charming company, witty conversation and no pressure. recommend it to everyone who the chance of social intercourse |
