This Tuesday (and Wednesday) I and a few others are going to Blackpool for a change of scene, anyone who wants to come is welcome. We will be staying at the Hotel Neon in Lord Street Blackpool, there is a 10% discount if you book for both night at www.hotelneon.co.uk using the code NEONBAR there are currently 3 rooms left.
Most of us will get to Blackpool by late afternoon on Tuesday and we will meet up and probably pop over to Clevelys in the early evening for drinks and something to eat and then back into Blackpool for the later evening.
The itinerary for the Wednesday daytime will be flexible, I will be wandering around Blackpool shopping, eating and twittering at people and you are welcome to join me. Blackpool has a big Primark, a Roman clearance store, a TK Maxx and other retail therapy so it is easy to fill a day shopping here.
The evening will be agreed during the day but it will obviously include finding somewhere to eat then wandering around as many bars as we think is sensible. My preference is not to just stay in LGB areas but this will be discussed so no one feels they have to do anything that they do not feel safe and comfortable doing.
