The Manchester ladies social can be found here from 8pm each Wednesday.Iconic is a cosy bar tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Canal Street on the adjacent Richmond Street.
It used to be a hair salon that is now known as a friendly bar with an impressively well-stocked spirits collection, particularly when it comes to gin as they have up to 150 in stock at times). All of their drinks are reaosnably priced.
The staff team and owner are very supportive of our trans community, are chilled and relaxed and everyone is friendly and chatty. You will be very welcome here and not judged in any way.
The Decor is warm and cosy, the music is gentle background music with no DJ's or drag acts most nights though there is ‘Monday night madness’ SpeedQuizzing and Thursday night bingo. On most nights it is a good place to come and sit, relax with friends and have a chat together.
It is one of the nicer bars in the area but also one of the lesser known bars too so be different and give it a try.

Wednesday 4th December Through the day I will be out in and around the main city areas shopping or in bars & cafes, if you want to join me just message me. 6pm to 8pm you will usually find some of our ladies in either Velvet or Via or I will be eating somewhere outside the Village but within around 10 minutes walk from it, if you want to join me please just ask or message me. 8pm onwards we all try to meet up in Iconic at 29 Richmond Street M1 3NB where we are understood and welcomed by the owner, his lovely colleague Ste and his friendly team. We are blessed with a 10% of drinks deal here (thank you Terry x) ask at the bar for one of our cards. Generally there will be around 20 Ladies out socialising in Iconic which is open until midnight. Other popular locations to go to during the evening are; The Molly House, The Goose (though you will have to fit around their Wednesday quiz night), New York New York, Eva, Via, Oscar's, The Brewers, BarPop, The Church. At around midnight I am ready for a change of both scene and culture so I wander into Northern Quarter where I always get a lovely, kind and caring welcome, you can join me if you wish or you can stay in the Village with those who prefer it there. Any questions not answered in the above just ask me. Wednesday 8th January The evening is focussed around meeting between 8pm to 11pm in Iconic at 29 Richmond Street M1 3NB where we are welcomed by the owner Terry and his lovely colleagues Louis and Ste. We are blessed with a 10% off drinks deal here (thank you Terry) so if you are a regular visitor ask at the bar for our discount card. Generally there will be around 20 Ladies out socialising on the evening but not all of them are necessarily in Iconic bar at the same time as people drift in and out. The ladies present will vary from first time out socially to full time experienced and everything in between, locals and visitors from around the country. You will always find someone that you can relate to and compare your personal journey with as everyone is friendly and approachable. If you are alone or new, ask for me and I will introduce you to everyone. If you come and sit on the edge of the group without asking for me I will assume you want privacy so I won't interrupt you. Before 5pm I will be out and about the city and surrounds shopping and cafe-ing but never in the LGB area, if you want to join me just message me. I am happy to come and meet you if you need that but please be on time or I will wander off again. 5pm-ish to 8pm I will be eating somewhere, usually near Deansgate or in Northern Quarter, again message me if you would like to join me. 6pm to 8pm if you don't want to leave the LGB village you will usually find some of our ladies out in either Velvet or Via When Iconic closes at 11pm I am ready for a change of scene and culture so I wander into Northern Quarter, you can join me if you wish or you can stay in the Village with those who prefer it there. Always a nice turn out on wednesdays from local girls and ones staying over. Wide choice of bars, start at Iconic. Even venture out to Northern quarter later too. Recommended x
