The Manchester ladies social can be found here from 8pm each Wednesday.Iconic is a cosy bar tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Canal Street on the adjacent Richmond Street.
It used to be a hair salon that is now known as a friendly bar with an impressively well-stocked spirits collection, particularly when it comes to gin as they have up to 150 in stock at times). All of their drinks are reaosnably priced.
The staff team and owner are very supportive of our trans community, are chilled and relaxed and everyone is friendly and chatty. You will be very welcome here and not judged in any way.
The Decor is warm and cosy, the music is gentle background music with no DJ's or drag acts most nights though there is ‘Monday night madness’ SpeedQuizzing and Thursday night bingo. On most nights it is a good place to come and sit, relax with friends and have a chat together.
It is one of the nicer bars in the area but also one of the lesser known bars too so be different and give it a try.

Wednesday 2nd July Manchester social is an every Wednesday thing. There are usually around 20 ladies out ranging from new to full time experienced and everything in between. There will be locals and visitors from around the country. Everyone is always open, friendly and chatty. Those who prefer not to leave the Village; 6pm to 9pm you will usually find ladies in Via or Velvet on Canal Street. 8pm to 11pm ladies meet up in Iconic Bar on Richmond Street, a chilled and very friendly little bar where we get 10% off their drinks just for being us :-) 11pm-ish people will usually drift back to Via in Canal Street or Centre Stage or NewYorkNewYork which are both on Bloom Street. Those who are comfortable away from the Village; 3pm to 8pm-ish I could go anywhere but it will be non-scene. Anyone is welcome to join me but please bring shoes that are sensible for walking and dress to fit into non-scene places. If we make an arrangement to meet please be on time as unreliable people from the past have unfortunately taught me to always stick to my schedule, so I will be gone. 8pm-ish I will hang out with those in Iconic. 10:30pm-ish I will wander out of the Village to where ever seems a good idea at the time, again welcome to join me but it will involve walking so needs sensible footwear. Well we met at Iconic after our lovely ladies dinner organised by Alison. Its the meeting up pub and my impression of it was its quite billy basic. However a few girls where there. We moved on after 1 round. Its in a handy part of Manchester village.

A really nice friendly social gathering, Alison always looks out for anyone who is new and introduces them to the regular girls. The crowd will move from Iconic Bar and onto centre stage, but there us freedom to go to other bars like Via Bar Pop.
