A monthly girls night out in central Bristol. This will be held on the 3rd Friday of every month. Any girls welcome.

- The Schedule -
We start at the Phoenix Pub at 7:30-8pm. This is a friendly get together to chat and have a relaxed drink. We may move onto other bars/clubs, Bristol has a great selection of LGBTQ friendly venues either in Old Market or on Frogmore street.

- Travel -
If driving you can park at Cabot Circus multi-story car park in the centre of Bristol. It is open 24/7 and is only £3 between 5pm and 7am. The pub is directly opposite the back exit of the car park, easy to walk to in heels. Please be aware there is a clean air zone in Bristol. You can avoid this if you enter Cabot Circus car park from the Houlton Street entrance/exit only.

If you are arriving by train you may want to get a taxi to the bar as it is a long walk. There is also a number of busses that go into central Bristol.

- Accomodation -
There is a plethora (always wanted to use that word) of hotels in central Bristol, with various price ranges. Moxy Bristol and The Future Inn hotels are very close to The Phoenix pub where we meet. There is also a Hampton by Hilton and Holiday Inn close by.

- Questions? -
Any questions there is a forum post you can ask on under - Looking To Meet (Friendship & NON-sexual).

JOIN US FOR THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY LEEDS PRIDE WEEKENDER!🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Leeds First Friday takes place in the heart of Leeds on the first Friday of every month. It’s a big, lively, properly social day and night for the entire trans community, plus partners, friends and allies.

Alongside the wider night across the Freedom Quarter, we also host our own LFF events throughout the day and evening. Things kick off with Pints N Straws, our taproom tour from 2 to 6pm. A gentle warm up, good beer, good chat, zero pressure.

From 7pm, The LFF Big Meetup takes over Bridge End Social. This is the main gathering point and the easiest place to find familiar faces and new ones. At the same time, Made It!, our dedicated newcomer meet, runs from 7 to 8pm at The Bridge Bar. It’s smaller, calmer, and designed for first timers who want a softer landing.

Later on, Cocktails at 9 heads to Farrands Bar from 9pm for those who fancy something a little more polished. Booking is required for this one with Lucy Hutchinson, because its popular and places remain stubbornly finite.

Beyond that, the night unfolds as you want it to. We drift between bars and clubs across the Freedom Quarter, with no fixed route and no expectations. You choose where you go, who you’re with, and when you call it a night. That freedom is kind of the point.
Safety matters to us, quietly and properly. On the night, support is available through Angels of Freedom, the Night Safe Space Bus, Ask For Angela schemes, West Yorkshire Police partnerships, and spiking prevention initiatives. You do not need to memorise any of this. All the details are clearly laid out in our app at leedsfirstfriday.com/app, so help is there if you need it and politely invisible if you do not.

And because we like a proper ending, we regroup the next morning. Breakfast at Bridge End Social runs from 10am on Saturday. A calm debrief, carbs, caffeine, and the soft realisation that you definitely said you were going home earlier. To book, message Marta at Bridge End Social or email marta@bridgeendsocial.co.uk.

LFF isn’t about being stuck in one venue. It’s about bumping into people, reappearing hours later, and feeling part of the city rather than tucked away from it. You’ll mix with the wonderful chaos of Leeds and yes, you’ll feel visible. In a good way.

First time? You’re absolutely not on your own. We have a big, friendly team who know exactly how daunting this can feel and exactly how quickly it usually stops feeling that way. If you want to chat beforehand, meet someone on arrival, be gently introduced to others, or just ask what on earth is going on, we’ve got you.

Leeds First Friday is now the biggest monthly trans and non binary social night in the UK. More importantly, it’s one of the friendliest. A genuinely safe, relaxed place to take your first steps or your hundredth.

It's our 18th birthday year and LFF is still going strong and shows no signs of calming down. Come along. Meet people. Make friends. Enjoy yourself.

Fair warning. Once you come, you tend to keep coming.
